Hello, my name is
Alissa Power
and I am an OT at
CATS Hamilton
Fun Facts
Why I Became An OT
I chose to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy because I've always been passionate about the mind-body connection and how our surrounding shape our well-being. I was drawn to OT's diverse and empowering nature, and I find joy in helping people recognize their strengths while making everyday life more meaningful, accessible, and fulfilling. I love that OT combines creativity, problem-solving, and a personable approach, all of which align closely with my own values and strengths.
Life Long Learning
I completed my Bachelor of Kinesiology at Brock University and my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Queen's University. I am passionate about ongoing growth and love exploring evidence-based approaches and continuing my education opportunities to strengthen my skills and provide the best possible care.
