Introducing Allie Rogers
Allie is passionate about using a strengths-based, occupationally-driven, and personally meaningful focus to collaborate with her clients and their families to reach their goals. Allie has experience working with clients on their sensory and self-regulation goals, self-care, visual-perceptual skills, fine and gross motor, handwriting, and school skills goals.
Allie is a registered occupational therapist who completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Queens University in 2016. Allie started her career in School-Based Rehabilitation Services with the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) and developed a passion for helping children and their families reach their functional goals. She expanded her skills through OT roles at Bluewater Health and as a professor in the OTA/PTA program at Lambton College.
Over the course of her years as an OT, Allie has completed further training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Rehabilitation, and Handwriting Without Tears.
Allie is active in the Sarnia-Lambton community as a volunteer for Girl Guides and playing music with the Lambton Concert Band. In her free time, she enjoys volleyball, cooking, board games, live music, and anything in the great outdoors!
