Fun Facts
Why I Became An OT
I was looking for a profession that would let me work with people, had an element of education and included the body - I wasn't inspired by the other options out there. The first description I read of OT included addressing the whole person: body, mind, emotions and spirit. This holistic view was exactly what I was looking for and I instantly knew I'd found my place.
Life Long Learning
My undergraduate degree is in English Literature and I have a Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia. I've achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in Sensory Processing from Sheffield Hallam University. I'm a Wellness Recovery Action Plan Co-facilitator and have a certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
