Sue

Introducing, Sue Wahl

Sue graduated from University of Western Ontario in 1995.  Sue has held positions in school care (Peel, Halton and Waterloo Regions)  and treatment centres (KidsAbility, Erinoak).  She has consulted to children  in the public school system, private schools, day cares, and treatment centres.  Sue worked for the provincial Intensive Behaviour Intervention program for 4 years at ErinOak.  Sue has extra certifications in Sensory Integration (SIPT-certified) and ABA.

Sue has completed a certification program in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and has been supporting adults following motor vehicle accidents since 2011.  Sue has extra training in the Progressive Goal Attainment Program, trauma treatment, cognitive interventions, and return to work /disability management.

Sue is the director and a treating OT at CATS St George. Along with Alison Hendricks, Sue co-founded CATS in 2018. CATS offers a unique opportunity for independence and team collaboration. The ability to access other OTs in the field opens up a wealth of experience, resources, problem solving and mentorship. Therapists own and operate their own clinics, but belong to a supportive team of therapists, resulting in a balance of independence and team, supporting both the therapist and the clients.

When not seeing clients, Sue is passionate about sharing her knowledge with other therapists, and spending time with her family.  Sue is married and has two children.

Meet the rest of the CATS CREW.
