Fun Facts
Why I Became An OT
I love working with children, teens, I became an OT because I loved making learning new skills accessible to everyone! It first started when I was teaching swimming lessons in high school and started to modify their programs to make sure it was meeting each child's needs. Then I discovered I could do this as a career - being an Occupational Therapist and working with kiddos everyday.
Life Long Learning
I have a Bachelors Degree in Arts & Sciences, specializing in Psychology Brain and Cognition and Child, Youth & Family Studies. I completed my Master of Science, in Occupational Therapy in Scotland, UK and completed placements in Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Community Treatment Centre for Brain Injuries, Acute Medicine Unit, Community Hospital Discharge/Prevention of admission and Child & Adolescent Mental Health: Intellectual Disabilities.
